does anyone know much about creating interactive pdfs in indesign cs2?

there are several documents set up in a book file and each page has a table of contents that expands to show the section

i am setting hyperlink destinations by hand for all of the pages (seems like it should be scriptable but i don't have time to look into scripting it myself) and then setting a table of contents along the left hand side of each page which hyperlinks to the destinations.

my question is: am i going to find any problems with hyperlinks with the same name on my final pdf or should this work okay? and does anyone have any scripts that might speed the process up a bit (it's pretty labour intensive at the moment)?
