An experimental animation exploring the "Stratastencil" technique that I've devised. Inspired by the Stratacut technique, Stratastencil is an additive process. Stratacut removes material to reveal another layer, while this technique adds another layer while still showing the layer before it.
I can't believe I'm actually considering making that thing.. haha
Canon's paperfold library is a fantastic resource. one of their paper kitties was an emergency birthday gift for a visitor a while back. i also gave him a flat print so he could make his own at the end of his travels. he still has them both.
damn, i wish it were free. the enlarged thumbnail isn't big enough to swipe. i didn't say that out loud.
