advice apple remote admin / screen resolution

    i'm running a headless sawtooth via ard and the imac. when i go into sys prefs > display on the sawtooth, it only gives me 2 options of screen resolution (as there is no monitor plugged in, i assume). is there anyway of allowing more resolutions than the 2 which are available by default?

    it gives me the choice of 800x600 or 1024x768, but i want 1280x1024.

    What for?

    If you MUST have more screen resolutions, find a VGA monitor adapter of some sort and plug that in. That should release more resolutions.

    cool, i'll try that, thanks :) i have the adc - dvi connector to plug in there.
