    Does anyone have experience in using the Digidesign Mbox with Mac OS X, and specifically using it to record music from turntables and mixer?

    And does the MBox work with any other program other than Protools?

    Any help hugely appreciated!

    I've never tried the MBox. But all ProTools SW is tied to their HW. I believe you can use other apps with their HW as long as you have the proper drivers. Recording from mixer shouldn't be a problem. If you can input it, it will record.
