    Max 0.8.1 compiled with LAME 3.98 framework

    Here's a build of the current stable version (0.8.1) with the LAME 3.98 framework from the SVN repository. That's the only change which was made.

    I tried it with a couple of newly bought CDs and it works like a charm.

    ... and LAME V0 is the only way to go :smile:

    Many thanks - think I'll stick with the current stable, though (seems to be working well).

    The MP3 files that Max outputs identify themselves as V9, even if you've got things set to output V0 - so I went investigating. Turns out they're really V0, which is good. ;)

    A lot of bug fixes in regards to LAME vbr in 3.98 ;)

    The "LAME 3.98" 0.8.1 build is stable btw
