MainMenu 1.7 will not work after the 10.4.9 software update and i've been a lazy boy and not done the weekly mac house-keeping, so i had seen stuff on this freeware application called IceClean.

IceClean is a system optimization and maintenance tool which utilises the built in unix system tasks to help keep your mac perky and in tip top performance

i'm always amazed at what is around in the freeware market for osx - and this is awsome for freeware

tis true- i spend so much time digging for workarounds of for sale apps i end up missing all of the good free stuff
granted certain apps deserve the time spent, but for system utes and what not, you can usually find a free/open source
version of equal use to something being sold.

Onyx is a good one too. It does everything that Cocktail does, but is free. Still gonna try this new one out though.
