    i suck at his webby stuff. trying to help a friend with a flash banner. not going well. i've uploaded an .flv file to youtube and will embed or link here.
    it is a photoshop animation rendered to quiktime and exported as an .flv.

    my questions
    can i make something like this work as an add banner? when i make it an swf file its 1.2 mb, way too big, right?
    would it be smaller if i did it from scratch in flash?
    shall i scrap the concept and startover?
    actual sive should be 1920 x 120 px

    hey red.

    yup, i say startover. sorry.
    first pic as background, second pic fades in, texts + logo (vectors if possible) + white background fades in.
    do all texts in flash and dont import them as image!
    should result in a swf not bigger as lets say 120kb probably.

    1920 pixel??? woahh, a lot of people will never see the right end of that banner :wink:

    thanx cpu, –1920, where did i get that, 980, still pretty wide tho.

    ughh! i'm a real loser at flash as well. out with the manual.
