    package = wrap in paper, design a jewel case insert, sew a bag, utilise some other container not originally meant for the media which you are enclosing within.

    not really :( though, the 'hoho' bit was because i don't quite understand what you didn't 'get' about it.

    but the "package = ..." was serious. i wanted to try and not limit what form the packaging may take. like i said previously, that is what i see this as an exercise in, rather than being simply a music compilation thing. ya dig? :D

    i'm looking forward to finding out who my .... lucky partner... is. ;)

    i won't know what music i will mixtape for them until i do, and can't go very far with the packaging plan until i know what music's gonna be on it.

    'course, there's always the potluck mix, where you take the un-named and un-nameable tunes in your music library, put them on shuffle, and record the first 30 minutes or so. it's a very illuminating exercise. heh

    I guess mainly its point 5: ????? that I felt a bit unclear about, but it must be cos im spanish and sometimes I miss the beautiful subtleties of the english language.

    Anyway, Im extremely busy at the min with work and I don't want to do a Nimnot (no offense nim) :) on this one so I guess I'm going to bail out on this one, sorry

    i am waiting to get paired with someone so i can choose music that seems right for them. what if i did use klezmer music and meska ended up with it? he'd listen once out of politeness. someone mentioned posting lastFM profiles to help the makers.

    cover art reflects the music contained, so i can't very well start that without the music.

    Mick, i wouldn't worry, make a mix with love: for what it's worth, i'm looking forward to listening to the music that you guys listen to - i collect genres not applicable to most here, so it's interesting to hear what's out there.

    i was going by the stated outline for this project.

    gee, you guys, i have a LOT of different kinds of music.. everything from show tunes from the 1950's to mouth harp concerts to crunk. shape-note chorus for croatian tone poems, anyone?

    love is part of everything i do here, my friends. (even when exhausted and cranky, it's still with love.) :)
