I think I'll give it a trial-try... I've read so much praise on it's quickness on lower macs too when compared to CS3, which in turn was faster than CS2 etc. ~7 Gigs takes a long to download...
i couldn't really care less for the tabbed windows, since i'm always working on full-sized documents and for some reasone - the tabs are not working for me with that setting i love the rotate-thingy in photoshop - working with tablet just got a whole lot better. overall - not too much new things for me, i guess - but then again, what i do on a daily basis requires minimum to none special skills
So how's it going? All i have to say is CS4 Illustrator/Photoshop/Indesign are best incarnations EVER. EVER EVER. All apps are performing faster, and the additions to applications are changing the way i'm working for the better. Illustrator is just so awesome now.
Indeed they're pretty fast on my oldish first generation MBP... so I am impressed. They actually made some headway compared to CS3 which wasn't noticeable faster or more responsive than CS2 with Rosetta – I have yet to play around with Illustrator as I didn't have any project requiring vectors, but I am doing a journal/academic paper collection thingie in InDesign and I am impressed by the speed
