advice Software for packaging - boxes design?

    Just something on my mind..
    Need to design some carton boxes but was wondering if there is any good software for that on OSX?
    (regarding a 3D view and stuff)

    Thing is, for example, if i want to put a picture on the box which is located on 3 sides of the carton box, i think i need some special software to make it look nice since the image will have to be distorted under different angles.

    Do we have something like that?

    if it's a simple box (cuboid is the word?), you can always try illustrator - it has a nice 3d extrusion with ability to map different artwork to different sides.
    other than that there's cinema3d. and i'm guessing some other stuff, maybe even open source applications...

    isn't the current photoshop offering some features regarding package/box design?
