    hey blues, how you been?

I think the toughest 2 things about Ike for us were:
    A. The kids just don't understand, no power means don't open the fridge, don't play with the flashlights and we can't eat all the food in an hour.
    B. Galveston is bad off and we were going there next weekend for our annual trip for my wife's b-day ;(

I hope everyone else is okay out there.

last week i watched footage of people in Burma frantically fleeing in front of a massive destructive tidal wave. so many killed, so much lost. :(

that was what filled my mind when i read about Ike heading for Galveston. i'm grateful that there were few deaths, and sad for the damage people suffered. Galveston has been the one place in Texas that i liked. :)

RaVeN; i'm glad to know that you and your family got by ok.
