    that's the point of the project urban, take a movie poster and make it better or different

    I'm wondering why people don't 'get' this thread. Maybe I haven't made myself clear enough :awkward:

    Usual Suspects is a great film. I'm trying to think if another similar film exists... can't think of one though. To make a film where the viewer watches a plot which never actually took place in a film is quite cool.

    these are from the so-called "polish school of posters" - we had such a thing going for decades - started after the war or so.
    all of these posters look like shit to me - i hate that particular style and it always reminds me of the "suffering chosen nation" thing we got going through almost all our movies/books/poetry etc.

    was a bit surprised how some don't seem to have anything to do with the movie though
    Tootsie was a comedy, the poster makes it seem a bit like a horror film

    that's the problem with the "polish school of poster" :) i remember when i was a kid i was usually scared shitless by those posters...
