i make things, including but not limited to, in no particular order:
furniture designs, construction and installations; paintings and sculptures in various media; presentation drawings/graphics[the old-fashioned way, by hand], graphic design, digital print and prepress; theater set objects; some finish carpentry and remodeling, as long as no permit is required...

i used to get paid for making food, too, but i stopped. only for enjoyment now.

    More seriously...

Originally used to be a Furniture Maker and Restorer (served an old-fashion apprenticeship); then had a go at setting up my own business in this area, which didn't work - spent too much time in the hills taking photos... Then (to college, late on) studied Photography... paid my way through there by managing in tele-marketing (wow, not a career move but I learnt a lot about people there!)... Some more photo-related stuff, published photographer/author (stretching it a bit with the latter, one book, two mag articles, lol)... lectured in college, photography and multimedia, for years! Alongside this did freelance training, web-stuff and project management...Then (as most know) resigned from education 10 months ago! Now freelancing 100% mainly web but a little project management in arts/education... still working on what plan 'b' is...

I am a starving student but had some interim jobs...

... just after graduation from high school I went to work for a local newspaper, decided I had to go to study so I moved to Austria to study English (makes sense, doesn't it?), thought I had to do something creative, so I took Art History as an elective/minor subject (again the most logical thing to do) – was a freelance editor for some time, I also wrote some short stories and actually got some of my stuff published... but I actually never got any money for my work so that does not count as a job but I like to mention that to fill a glaring hole in my CV :-) recently worked in a small publishing house as an editor – also I started to do "professional" graphic design / layout for a journal that is published by my uni.

Well' that's it – and no pictures, but my jobs always had to do with writing and typing sooooo....

i was sure i'd posted here.

i am trained as an architect but have mostly drifted into larger scale urban regeneration and masterplan interventions.

in short new bits of city within existing cities not always but often fixing what is broken.

most of my time is spent working on london projects but have also performed urbansurgery (geddit?) in Dubai, Almere (ND), Utrecht (ND), Berlin (DE), Ostrava (CZ), Oxford (UK), Pisa (IT), Turin (IT) not to mention the exotic trinity of West Bromwhich, Wolverhamption and Dudley (UK)
