conversations segways are stupid

    there is a big launch party event happenign across the road from my office and a feature is that ye get greeted at teh entrance and you follow some dolly bird on a segway to the main event.

    so ive been workingwatching these segways passing time all day and they just look like ungainly ugly ducklings waddling about

    perhaps im just jealous

    Well I guess the gun helps with the "we mean business" part but seriously, segways?!? You should see the 3 wheel version that the LAPD are riding around. Imagine getting pulled over by a segway with training wheels

    i want one...but just to use around the house...eh i would probably break things and get in trouble
    its me house but i still get yelled when i spill or break...im not sure why
    they advertise this hov-a-round chair(sp?) on tv...basically just a well made motorized wheelchair...i really really really want one
    but Madhu said if i got one i would never get out of it...she is probably not lying!
    heh...so i am just crazy man with a cane

    i've seen similar devices used for paraplegics with good results. training wheels seem like a good idea.

    like i said, when that pic was posted in another thread, "lock and load" takes on a whole new dimension.

    video apparently does not work when embedded, just says "Sorry, this video is no longer available" – but it works in youtube proper :happy:
