Stop being a brat or a twat or whatever british slang is appropriate. we are all friends here and mick is having a bit of a fun poke back at you when you went and pissed all over her "shape" suggestion. I'm happy to see you around, hoping it means you're doing better, but damn, don't be so sensitive. We're having FUN here, you do recall fun? Fun were we raz those we call friends, fun were we all play together, fun were we can laugh at ourselves? FUN man, FUN! I'm glad you've started this thread, as I'm genuinely interested in doing this. But please, Lighten up Francis!

    awwwww...

base. nobody is going anywhere. i must have lied about the "actively discourage". i don't know what's going on in your head, but.... you're in there all by yourself.

i feel bad for you that your world is like it is. i hold no malice or ... even dislike for you. i don't like the way you treat people sometimes. this has been one of those times. i wish you well, and suggest that you take some space to regain your sense of humour. i can't have any hard feelings, since you haven't hurt mine. i understand what it's like when your perceptions get skewed. this is again.. one of those times. you're way off the mark.

like it or not, i'm part of the package.

in fact, if you get so pissy as to try to cancel this, i am offering to help more.

if you don't want to participate, we can take chris' idea and run with it. i'm offering to help coordinate.

be well, base. please be well.

edit: i borrowed this pic from base.

chris said...other than what's been said (and i like the wall), there are always these -

    1. teeshirts (this didn't really work out too well before, right? :D) - make them however you like, send to whoever is meant to receive one from you.

    2. mix cd - you choose the songs, burn them to disk, make some cool packaging (or write the track names on in biro) and post to your pre-designated receiver.

    3. calender - don't take this years effort as how it'll be. it could work out much better with a little thought :D

    4. PROFIT!

i don't know how it was for others, but the tshirt idea was actually good. it was the implementation of the design where i fell down. what's good enough for me (if i want a pattern on a tee, i carve a potato and stamp it on) wasn't going to be good enough (imo) for flash soldier.

how about a tshirt exchange where we design the front and/or back of a tshirt on a template, and share the template. :) i'd have carved the design i got from mds76 into potatos and stamped it on, yes i would.

    (example is xxxxxsmall) :)

bonus: tshirts are something strippers can remove.

I did like the t-shirt idea, design a t-shirt and pass it on kinda thing.

We were also going to do the travelling cuddly toy too, posting a cuddly toy to each other around the world, and you had to take photos of it in funny places - then put a gallery up, kinda silly fun.

I second (third?) the t-shirt idea as well as the cuddly toy world traveler :D If I got the toy this summer, I would hike it up one of our 14ers here (14 000 feet = 4 267.2 meters) and take a pic of the view atop the rocky mountains.

I'll start the US cuddly toy shipathon. Somebody whisper me an address.

I'll locate something and take some shots. Can't guarantee they'll be exciting.
    Marissa's kitty

It's a stuffed kitty that I stole borrowed from the child. I'll put some other goodies in the box too.

I'll get some more pics before it goes out, but I do want an address.

good for you, Biff! :) (and lafemi)

stealing your kid's toys is a perk.

i don't camera, so ... we'll see. would it count if i handed the kitty off to someone who does, then reap the rewards?

um :) team spirit? good on you for inquiring.

how about in a spirit of fun? i just had a friend move to management (nursing MAY be diff than archie work), and the first thing she was tasked with was "building team spirit".

urban.. in all the years i've been hanging out with this bunch, i've been deliberately rude to someone twice. both were a long time ago, i still regret each incident. please always assume, even if it doesn't tickle your funnybone, that my intentions are good. :) sometimes i don't get your humour the first time, either.

nicko, i THINK that as soon as lafemi has done her deed, she'll ask for an addy from the next photographer.
