    I used to work in Lightwave, but I am looking for an application for doing things like modeling logos in 3D and rendering them out.

    Any advice?

    nah, was just hassling you...we're still using it for a lot of stuff here, but it's being left behind by most other 3D packages. We're migrating to XSI, but I still have a soft spot for clunky old LW.

    I just bought myself lightwave 9.3

    I just can not be arsed to learn a new 3D application when Lightwave can still do the job.
