i had one of those odd little dissociations today. i was walking across a meadow, and at the edge of the meadow is the Komas Bluffs... so the view was meadow full of grasses and wildflowers surrounded by tall old-growth fir and spruce trees on three sides, with the 4th quarter disappearing into an ocean vista. it's a long piece of ground.

all of a sudden i felt like my steps were turning the planet, and that if i stopped, the world would slow its spin until our air all fell off. i experimented with skewed foot placement, and that felt like i was tweaking the torque of the spin.

that lasted until i got to the edge of the bluffs, because.. walking on air is ineffective when it comes to motivating the planet.

good night, finally hooked up my pc and my mac after the move to sarnia. had to come here first and snoop around. its getting to be my bedtime though so I'm ditching out early, I'm sure I'll be around more now lol at least until the baby gets here, then it might be fairly off and on again lol.

it's early evening; just starting to cool down a bit. the evening sea breeze is a boon.

i've got people here. the deck has turned into a place for the amps, and rocking out is about to begin.

the kids are happy. some are at the beach for a "warm swim" in the shallows over the rocks, some are playing on the rope swing. some of the littles are asleep in the shade. it's a peaceful moment.

there's a game of hide 'n seek planned for later. that may be my favorite game of all.

a change of scenery in the nice s.wales air didnt help as much as i'd hoped

garlic: smashed into paste, mixed with butter. toasted into coarse bread. use for sopping up meat juice. guaranteed for cleaning plates.

nicko... i don't get it. garlic bread is real. garlic and bread. cheesecake is real. made with cream cheese and baked.
