and yet it's paint job has held up.
nicko... that light is wonderful. i'm stealing the idea.
the expando bookshelf just previous... seems pretty ugly when pulled apart, and it doesn't really hold that much more.
the wall of shelves is intriguing, but like GearedUp says... heh we have little earthquakes a couple of times a year... i'd install hold-down straps.

that's beautiful flooring.
i'm ok with the tree and birds wall stencilling, but the modular system for the couch/sofa is what i'm liking.
i'll probably steal the button and band idea.

Travel magazine Vagabonds travel bookshop at Södermalm has received a substantial makeover design by Smånsk. A stylized map of the Södermalm area has created a pattern on the floor, which spread to the walls and bookshelves.

i like the ants better than the bats, but purple walls just isn't my thing.... though it would look good on a ceiling. (imo)

i worked in a hospital where all the icu "rooms" had coloured transparent walls.
the people in the yellow rooms just never looked as well as those in the pink or even the blue units.
but it looks like a great space. the recessed arrow-shaped plug ports on the walls are a nice touch.

i'm not sure about the top picture, here... i THINK it's a big cuddly large intestine lamp, or possibly a parasite. a big cuddly parasite.
