i have stolen this idea (actually, i copy/pasted the actual post in it's entirety) from another forum. what do you think? :)

Step 1. Record yourself reading this text.

Please call Stella. Ask her to bring these things with her from the store: Six spoons of fresh snow peas, five thick slabs of blue cheese, and maybe a snack for her brother Bob. We also need a small plastic snake and a big toy frog for the kids. She can scoop these things into three red bags, and we will go meet her Wednesday at the train station.

    Step 2. Post.

ha! you ALL have pronounced accents except me. i know you'd like to think you're normal, but you're not. i am. *NOD*

chicken, you sound out of practice with your english, but :D your english is about a thousand times better than my german.

jussi; your voice is as creamy as your skin.

blues'.. pfft! i can listen to that any time i want (i have it in my iTunes library). let's hear if you can string all those sentences together. :D

middi, you sound like you're laughing. that's very nice.

MsKs... you fast talker, you! :D

i get it that i sounded "bedroom voice" or "lullaby". i was trying to keep my voice down, nearly whispering. there were people sleeping all over my floor. maybe i should have a do-over. i've got a great big low voice that can startle people the first time it comes out of teeny me. i rarely need to be mic'd, unless mixing will prevent me from drowning out the guitars. heh

stupid experimental paragraph aside, i love hearing your voices, my friends.

heh, well, I was born and raised right here in the Netherlands, but I did spend two years abroad as a teenager. Was at an (international) american high-school and my english teacher was from Arkansas, so I may have picked something up there.
