That Tesla Roadster is a sick car. It could beat the crap out of a vette and uses no gas. Too bad they cost as much as they do, 92 grand is a lot to spend on cutting edge tech for the average person. They have a four seater with the same tech coming out for the 2010 year for 60 grand, factor in the cost of never using petrol again, that's not a bad deal if you can afford it.
i didn't realise that i'd be posting the full sized image. seems that their "low res" images are only resized in the browser hehe. oh well. and yes, totally hot.
btw... the tesla will not be able to out-perform cars like the corvette. It has impressive 0-60 times, yes, but it is not all-around a better/faster racer.
yeah, they are quite right with all of those trends. Most of them have been introduced over the past couple of years. It kind of gives you an idea of the direction it will go. Its probably just getting closer to the initial concept drawings from the designer! And I'd imagine this is happening because of manufacturing advances?
the perfect 3/4 shot of almost every car in the world!

again, not so much concept car - this time, it's a 1:12 scale Audi Auto Union Type C Roadster Pedal Car and is crafted from aluminum and comes complete with real leather trim and comes directly from Audi themselves.
"...about 100 concept sketches from the '60s and '70s that found their way out of the design studio, avoiding the destruction that comes during corporate re-orgs. The result is the "Designing an Icon, Creativity and the American Automobile" exhibit, on display at the Louisville Visual Art Association until November 10th." - core77
"Toyota, in search of new forms for its Prius in the near future--2010 to 2015, to be exact--tapped students at the Istituto Europeo di Design at Turin for concepts."
