It indeed is nice. I want one, but then I looked around with my brand new Mcbook Pro on my lap in my 24m2 apartment and saw that I was using my dual g5 tower just to listen to music while watching a shitty movie from a plasma screen bolted to the wall and I realised that I think I spend the electricity aquivalent of a small finnish village and decided not to get one. -

Jailbroke 1.1.3, with everything and all that. Best thing about it is.... wait for it, it's a PDA in the disguise of an iPod. Got VNSea working, and at any open wifi point i can VNC into my mac or the server at work. I'm loving my iPod Touch as you can tell. -

i bought the apps coz having maps, emailss and webclippings is just too useful to me so i guess that means no jailbreak and vnc for me for a while -

You can get everything once you jailbreak your Touch obie. I have all the new apps, plus webclips and the wobble custom mode. -

I've games (console) and an aim app on my jailbroken itouch (1.1.3), vnc, mail, maps, web clips for safari etc,etc.. also some great wifi apps for sniffing and logging and navison running.. custom folders,themes,and even stacks in the dock,, right now i see about 40-50 console games available
if apple makes apps free, i'll restore the firmware.. I'm still pissed off that the first offering of apps Apple offered were given to iphone owners for free and they wanted $20 from us lowlife itouch owners,,No matter -All apple apps working plus a lot more stuff .. Sorry Steve, I spent the $20 on beer..

BTW anyone wanting to use ziphone do not use v3 with a iTouch 16GB or 32GB v2.6b still works though.

overbyte.. go to settings /general/ auto lock-- change it to never..
also you can go here.. http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/index.php to get more applications to enter into installer manually.. -

I get this occasionally. It can be from the network settings in the wifi (even though it shows a signal), you may need to renew DHCP lease for your particular connection. Also you may have added sources that no longer work. And what blues said, ensure no autolock when you're installing loads.
Also ensure that you're in jailbroken 1.1.4, and i recommend you use iJailbreak (some of my mates have had probs jailbreaking successfully in Ziphone). -

Apollo does work. Try using MobileChat, i think it's in network in the Installer. It has a much nicer UI.

Been using iComic, and started reading the Watchmen.
Has anyone played with the SDK? I can't seem to find the iPhone tester app which mimics the iPhone. -
